Description:

Rhode Island Aviation Hall of Fame, Inc., plans to develop a world-class family attraction, education and job training center, museum and memorial on the Aquidneck Island (Newport) side of Rhode Island’s beautiful Narragansett Bay, featuring the retired aircraft carrier John F Kennedy as the centerpiece.

JFK had a significant relationship to this state, including his wartime training at Melville, his marriage in Newport and the Summer White House years at Hammersmith Farm.

This project included two renderings: One ground and one ariel.

Tangram 3DS wanted to show it’s love and appreciation for this kind of maritime history and decided to donate these high quality renderings for this nonprofit organization. The USS JFK project offers significant benefits to the community, the region and the nation. Some of these include: job creation, tax generation, education and new waterfront access for the community.

In exchange for this work, Tangram’s logo will appear on the organization’s website (www.ussjfk.org). Our work will be used on the home page of this website and be an integral part of campaign presentations and all printed promotions.

The Tangram 3DS staff bent over backwards to accommodate the unique needs of our non-profit effort to create a world-class family attraction...This project dealt with challenges not present in most commercial projects, such as access limitations...Throughout this process the Tangram staff remained calm, helpful and supportive, despite the number of changes requested. We were also impressed with their accessibility and responsiveness at all hours of the day, seemingly seven days per week. Frank Lennon, President, Rhode Island Aviation Hall of Fame/USS John F Kennedy Project
