Tangram 3DS is an international creative studio and marketing agency where technology and creativity unite. We work with leading real estate developers, architecture firms, and design teams on projects across the U.S., including Boston, New York City, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

Our services include high-end 3D visualization, immersive media, AI-driven content, video production, web design, graphic design, and branding. We are a close-knit, collaborative team that values trust, accountability, clear communication, and doing things the right way.

We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Operations Manager to take ownership of our internal operations. This is a key leadership-facing role and works closely with company leadership to ensure the business runs smoothly, professionally, and efficiently.

This position wears three hats: accounting, office operations, and HR administration.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

  • Client invoicing, billing, project financial tracking, and follow-ups
  • Accounts receivable tracking and collections
  • Expense tracking and internal financial organization
  • Working closely with leadership, our bookkeeper, and CPA
  • Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
  • Monitoring payment status and proactively flagging issues

Office & Operations Management

  • Day-to-day office operations and organization
  • Managing vendors, utilities, phone, internet, and software subscriptions
  • Checking and managing software licensing, renewals, and subscriptions, including service contracts and vendor plans
  • Handling insurance policies, renewals, and related documentation
  • Ordering supplies and managing office needs
  • Creating, maintaining, and improving internal systems, processes, and documentation
  • Tracking contracts, renewals, and deadlines

HR & People Operations

  • Managing timesheets, PTO, sick time, and attendance tracking
  • Payroll coordination and data accuracy
  • Maintaining employee records and HR documentation
  • Supporting healthcare, benefits, and 401(k) coordination
  • Helping maintain and update the employee handbook and internal policies
  • Ensuring HR compliance documentation is organized and up to date
  • Serving as the internal point of contact for HR-related questions

Required Experience

  • Accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience
  • Invoicing, billing, and collections experience
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with accounting and office software tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR or office management experience
  • Experience in a creative agency, marketing studio, or professional services firm
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a junior or entry-level position
  • Not a role where issues are hidden, delayed, or softened
  • Not suitable for indirect communicators or vague reporting
  • Not a position where missed details or late disclosures are acceptable

Work Arrangement

This is a primarily in-office position due to the operational and leadership-facing nature of the role. Limited, occasional remote flexibility may be available once systems are established and trust and performance are demonstrated.

  • Base salary range: $80,000–$100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
