Tangram 3DS, an international 3D architectural visualization studio, has been in business for over 15 years. We work with some of the country’s largest architecture and design firms and real estate developers as well as on local projects in the Seacoast area. Our office is just minutes away from the charming, historic city of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, which regularly places on “Best Places to Live” lists in national publications, and has all of the world-class dining, shopping, and entertainment of a major city without the traffic and congestion. The city features excellent schools, museums, parks, and beaches, and is a great place to raise a family. And when you do need to get to the city, Portsmouth is within an hour’s drive of Boston or Portland, Maine.

Project Manager and Architectural Visualizer

Tangram 3DS is hiring a full-time, in-houseProject Manager/Architectural Visualizer

Tangram 3DS is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our growing team. We are looking for a full-time, project manager/architectural visualizer to join our Maine office. Located an hour’s drive north of Boston, we’re a boutique firm with a great group of skilled and passionate individuals. Description: As a Project Manager, you will communicate directly with clients and manage multiple concurrent projects. You will be the coordinator between our clients and T3DS team members. A background in interior design is essential, since a primary focus will be to create interior design layouts. You will also work on projects independently and as a team to produce top class visualizations on small- and large-scale projects. Additional training will be provided to advance your skills to that of a Senior Visualizer. You will report to our Managing Director and Director of Visualization.

Skills
Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have a background in interior design and understand the technical layout requirements of various industries, preferably in the financial industry (e.g. Branch Bank Design).
  • Have experience as a project manager, managing client relationships, and coordinating a team.
  • Be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time well while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have excellent verbal, written, and visual presentation skills.
  • Possess proficiency with 3DS Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Have fundamental skills in texturing, shading, lighting, and postproduction.
  • Be able to read and adapt AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup files.
  • Be a self-motivated problem solver, who is quickly able to learn new technology/standards.
  • Follow design direction from the Director of Visualization and will offer own ideas and creativity to projects.

Senior Visualization Artist (Architectural)

Tangram 3DS is seeking an experienced full-time visualization artist to join our team at our U.S. headquarters in Kittery, Maine. Responsibilities will include managing and visualizing large-scale scenes and production of both stills and animations of high-visibility projects.

Minimum Requirements

The applicant should have 4-5 years of full-time visualization experience and be able to provide a digital portfolio upon applying. The successful candidate must have an impressive portfolio and expert-level proficiency with 3DS Max, V-Ray, and Photoshop, and the ability to read and adapt AutoCAD, Revit and Sketchup drawings. We are looking for a candidate who will grow with us and work collaboratively in our friendly studio culture. We are a small, teamwork-oriented firm, and we are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to become part of our close-knit office. Viable candidates will display a positive attitude and an exceptional work ethic in our incredibly fast-paced work environment. We often face strict deadlines from our clients, and the ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple project deadlines and be absolutely committed to meeting them. Project management, organizational, and communications skills are also required, as the applicant will need to coordinate with both clients and other members of the Tangram team to complete project assignments. 3D Composite Post-Production VFX Artist

Tangram 3DS is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our growing team. We are looking for a full-time, Composite/Post-Production/VFX Artist to join our Kittery, Maine, USA office. Description: As a 3D Composite/Post-Production/VFX Artist, you will help to incorporate 2D and 3D assets into our architectural renderings and animations, including 2D and 3D people and cars. You will work independently, at times, and with project managers and production artists to blend assets into our projects to create photorealistic renderings and stunning animation sequences. Proficiency in Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere is essential. Experience with matte painting and rotoscoping are preferred, but not essential. You will report to our Director of Visualization/Creative Director and our Managing Director.

Skills

This is a full-time, in-house position. Relocation to local area is required.

Description: You will work on projects independently and as a team to produce top class work on small- and large-scale projects. Your stills, 3D animations, and 360 VR panoramas will have the “wow” factor that our clients are used to receiving. You will manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate directly with clients. You will report to our Managing Director and Director of Visualization.
