Going Big
When the ownership team at 20 Times Square was gearing up to market available retail spaces, our partners at Cushman & Wakefield helped spread the word that Tangram 3DS could be the perfect match for a creative partnership. The client had a bold, kinetic vision for this premier property and needed a website with the same level of life and vitality. We were sold on the initial brand package alone and excited to build a site that was equally big and bold. But after the initial meeting we couldn't help but think: go bigger.
Going Bigger
Everything about these retail spaces is remarkable, from the square footage to the world-famous address, but the biggest feature—quite literally—is the monumental wrap-around digital signage, broadcasting global brand messages to the roughly 400,000 daily visitors in the heart of Times Square.
All Day, All Night
Effectively capturing the scale and impact of this location - one of the most shared and re-posted across all socials - was paramount. So our team travelled to NYC to capture all the action: from early dawn to late, late night; in the thick of it at street level of one of the most traversed intersections in the world; high aloft, above the fray, piloting our drone through the monumental urban landscape of midtown Manhattan. The final time-lapse video perfectly reflects the vitality and breathtaking magnitude of 20 Times Square and it became the centerpiece for our website build.
Keep it Moving
Our creative exuberance didn't stop there: Tangram's web team brought the same excitement and vibrancy to the design and function of the site, including an electrified visual style, branded interactive effects and a custom web-animation of the 20 Times Square logo (we couldn't help ourselves!).
The Result
All of this comes together in a final platform that is as modern, exuberant, and visually commanding as 20 Times Square itself – in other words, a perfect match.
