Roux Institute
Overview
The Roux Institute project was a large-scale design communication effort supporting CambridgeSeven and Planeta Design Group in visualizing the Institute’s new campus spaces. Tangram 3DS was tasked with creating compelling visuals that conveyed architectural design intent, helped secure executive approvals, and aligned with marketing needs.
The Challenge
- Tight timelines driven by Northeastern’s President’s schedule for presentations
- Iterative design changes (feature wall finishes, gradient color choices, reception desk adjustments, carpet color changes) required rapid turnaround
- Approval restrictions: renderings could not be shared publicly until Northeastern authorized release
Results
- Renderings were used directly in high-level presentations with Northeastern leadership
- Client described images as “stunning” and praised Tangram’s ability to deliver under pressure
- Visuals are slated for future marketing release once approved by Northeastern, extending their impact beyond internal decision making
Working with Tangram 3DS on the Roux Institute project was a pleasure. Their team communicated clearly and collaborated effectively throughout the process. The renderings were high-quality, realistic, and accurate. They met our deadlines without compromising on the work and were wonderful partners. I'd highly recommend Tangram 3DS for visualization services.”
