XArc and Astroport Are Going to Explore the Solar System and We’re Going With Them

We're always excited when our partners at Exploration Architecture Corporation get in touch with requests for our services. CEO and Founder Sam Ximenes is doing incredible work with both XArc and his non-profit WEX Foundation, both of which are focused on addressing the challenges of space exploration, engineering, infrastructure, and architecture. XArc has had a flurry of great successes over the past few years and we are excited to see them reach yet another milestone, opening both European and Australian divisions of their Astroport Space Technologies subsidiary.

Our team of artists, including Jaques Peña (Director of VRX) and Marc Fagan (Director of Film & Motion) really knuckled down, bring all their talents and skills to the table, to bring these lunar environments to life.

Now there's even more reason to get excited about being XArc's creative partners, as our work with XArc is featured in the April 2023 issue of 3D World, an industry magazine for CG artists that is a favorite among our team. 3D World spoke with Jacques Pena (Director of VRX), Marc Fagan (Director of Film & Motion), and Andreis Frei (audio designer and composer) about the technical skills and creative vision required to bring epic space scenes to life while staying true to the physics and envrionmental realities of the lunar landscape (go ahead and @ us Neil DeGrasse Tyson, we can take it). We can't wait for our peers in the CG industry to learn more about our partnership with XArc and the amazing opportunities it has afforded us to push our technical boundaries and explore new creative avenues as digital artists.
